We are currently recruiting for a friendly Sleep Apnoea (CPAP) Consultant/ Pharmacy Assistant willing to join our team at Alice Springs Pharmacy on a Full-Time basis. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you have the skills and confidence to succeed in the role.

About the role:

  • Demonstration and trial of CPAP equipment;
  • Sale of CPAP machines, masks and accessories;
  • Ongoing patient care and monitoring;
  • Conducting sleep data analysis;
  • Stock control and ordering of CPAP machines;
  • Maintenance and cleaning of CPAP machines within the pharmacy following customer trials;
  • Working closely with the supplier and the pharmacist manager to provide excellent customer care;
  • Administration and booking of patient appointments;
  • Assisting customers within the pharmacy when not attending to sleep apnoea duties;
  • Maintaining stock and consulting room presentation standards;
  • Handling cash/eftpos transactions;

About You: 

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience with CPAP therapy or closely related area will be highly regarded;
  • Caring and committed to excellence in customer service;
  • Professional and well organised with good attention to detail;
  • Highly motivated, honest and reliable;
  • Strong communication skills with good telephone etiquette
  • Computer Literacy;
  • Ability to work well in a team and autonomously

Whilst previous experience is welcomed, we are happy to provide training to the successful candidate!
