About the role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team at Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse Hillcrest on a full-time basis. This is a dynamic new role that will directly manage several specialised practice areas including: - Dispensary
- Complex Compounding
- Centralised packing
- Remote Aboriginal Health Services
In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will lead a diverse team spanning the Dispensary, Compounding Facilities, and Centralized Packing Operation. Your team will include the Dispensary Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist on Duty, Dispensary Technician, Pharmacy Intern, Pharmacy Student, and Packing Team Leader. You will work closely with the Retail Manager, Regional Pharmacist Manager, and Indigenous Health Services Pharmacist Manager to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, while maintaining high quality standards and ensuring compliance across all regulatory requirements. Responsibilities - Manage and support the Pharmacy team to ensure the proper and efficient running of the dispensary.
- Ensure all Pharmacy operations comply with legal and professional standards.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering and stock control
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that customer's needs are met
- Provide clinical services such as medication reviews and vaccinations
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals in the local community
- Manage financial performance and ensure that the Pharmacy meets budgetary goals
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and improve customer engagement
About You: - A Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration
- Immunisation certification
- Retail Pharmacy industry experience
- Previous experience in a Pharmacy management role
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with patients and allied health professionals
- In-depth knowledge of DAA packing, aboriginal health services, dispensary operations and/or compounding practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Business acumen and a track record of driving results
- Well-developed computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment
