Expression of Interest                                                      Casual Pharmacy Students & Internship Pathways

Studying pharmacy and looking to gain real experience while you study? We’re inviting expressions of interest from students across South Australia who want to build their skills, earn while they learn, and set themselves up for a future internship.

If you’re keen to get out of the classroom and into a real pharmacy environment — this could be for you.

The Scaffidi Group is a network of independently owned pharmacies Australia wide, with a shared focus on community care. At Scaffidi Group, we combine friendly, down-to-earth service with modern pharmacy practice — and we genuinely enjoy what we do.

As a casual pharmacy student, you’ll get hands-on experience across the pharmacy, including:

• Assisting with S2/S3 medication sales (with pharmacist support)
• Supporting dispensary workflow and learning how things run behind the scenes
• Helping customers and providing great service
• Assisting with stock, merchandising, and general store tasks
• Jumping in where needed — no two shifts are the same

We’re after students who are:

• Currently studying a Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Friendly, approachable, and confident talking to people
• Reliable and motivated (you show up and get involved)
• Keen to learn and build real-world skills
• Team players who bring a positive vibe to work

Retail or pharmacy experience is great, but not essential — attitude matters most.

This isn’t just a casual job — it’s a potential pathway into your pharmacy career.

We actively look to support our student team members into intern pharmacist roles within the Scaffidi Group. That means:

• Structured, practical training that aligns with your registration requirements
• Mentorship from experienced pharmacists who actually support your growth
• Real exposure to community pharmacy services and patient care
• A smoother transition from student life into your internship year

• Flexible shifts that work around Uni
• A supportive, social team environment
• Ongoing training and development
• Real experience that gives you a head start
• Opportunities to grow into an intern role and beyond

Send through your expression of interest with a bit about yourself, your availability, and where you’re up to in your degree.

Start building your pharmacy career now — not just when you graduate.
